How to start driving with inDrive

inDrive works differently from Uber - passengers offer a fare and drivers accept, decline, or counter. That bidding model is why drivers in many cities prefer it.

Why drivers choose inDrive

You see the offered fare and destination before you accept, so there are no surprise unprofitable trips. The commission is also lower than most ride apps - around 10 percent in most cities, and promotional periods sometimes drop it further.

Sign up in the app

Download the inDrive app, switch to driver mode, and upload your documents - a valid licence, vehicle registration, and the local permits your city requires. Approval is usually quick because verification happens locally.

Master the bidding

When a request appears you can accept the passenger offer or send a counter-offer. Counter modestly - drivers who counter every ride with high prices lose requests to drivers who accept fair offers fast. During rain and peak hours passengers raise their own offers, so patience pays.

Getting paid

In many markets passengers pay cash, which means money in hand the same day. Card payments settle to your in-app balance and withdraw to a local bank account or wallet. Keep your acceptance honest - cancelling accepted rides hurts your standing far more than declining offers you never took.
